I like that it's the alt art. I think it looks a little better at card size than the original.

I like the watermark.
But yes, that art is the better option. Lot less 'seeking' though.

Jace doesn't have the watermark. So it can't be showing up on every card. MAybe it's for all non planeswalker cards?

*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

he really cool watermark in Azusa's text box representing the original printing. Nearly every card in Masters 25 will have this treatment, even cards originally printed in Limited Edition (Alpha), Beta, and Unlimited!" from: https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/a ... 2018-02-02

it pays to read more than the flavor stuff on the homepage for the game......or even to look at the home page

Pretty sure reading the home page under any circumstance is a net loss by every measure.
You didn't even shed any light on the situation.

I answered the question regarding the water mark.....

One problem is that the sentence "Note the really cool watermark in Azusa's text box representing the original printing." barely makes sense, and the sentence "Nearly every card in Masters 25 will have this treatment, even cards originally printed in Limited Edition (Alpha), Beta, and Unlimited!" does nothing to clarify the situation.

I understand you copied and pasted this, mostly word for word, off of the splash page for the product packaging, and that the source page is exactly as devoid of actual meaning.

My questions range from "Why 'Nearly' every card? Is TPman's speculation about planeswalkers being excepted correct?" to "Huh?"

Unfortunately none of my questions are addressed by the content from the source page.

I appreciate your participation though, and thank you for sharing the link.

The reason why jace doesn't have a watermark is the same as why the contraptions didn't. Watermarks don't mesh well with full card art.
