Can I get feedback on Prismatic Spray?

Woohoo! Another notch on the belt. What do you think would be a more reasonable cost?

It's good! Nothing revolutionary. Numbers feel nice. A leading question: does the card feel better or worse if you cut the word "greatest" out of there?

Hmm. So a couple of things. My only touchstone for "conditional exponential self-replication" is, like, Polyraptor. So first off I think you can't really print this at rare (which I didn't dock you for; that's a development concern). Following that, I'd think you may want to bump this up to or otherwise futz with the P/T. Mapping "how hard is it to trigger the Replicant Sentinel condition" against "how hard is it to trigger the Polyraptor condition" is difficult, maybe a fool's errand. Regardless, I think you want to make sure that when a player casts this, they're taking a large tempo hit -- doing the back of the envelope math, I worry that a 3/3 for 4 is too much

I suppose it usually won't matter. Probably easier to track as is, but reads easier without it.

The flavor whips and it's very elegant. Figuring out the relevant use cases is a nice little puzzle without diving too deep into "this is a unprintably clever" territory. There were a lot of cards that didn't do much on their own this time around (to borrow MaRo's terminology: a lot of very Linear cards), and this hedges on that category

Preferred Pronoun Set:
Sunrise
Instant (U)
Add to your mana pool. Spells cast with that mana can't be countered by spells or abilities.
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Sunset
Instant (U)
Aftermath
Counter target spell if it's your turn.

Also requesting comments. I was pretty proud of this one.

@AS: Prismeleon was cute. I worry about memory issues. Imagine: 2x Prismeleon on the board, and you paid for them with different colors. Nightmarish!

@Parad: Great example of a split card. A cool way to bend the color pie. The Sunrise/Sunset flavor was a bit of a miss for me? More accurately: I understand Sunrise mapping to its effect, but Sunset less so.
